Disappointing

Excellent hotel for quality of...

Liked: I have stayed here before and came back again this time because it is very clean, the staff are polite and friendly and the room was excellent and not noisy at night like some hotels. There is free parking (make sure you log in at reception). The bed was very comfortable and room facilities are brilliant. The breakfast was excellent and plenty to choose from whether English or continental. Dinner was beautifully cooked and presented. So as to provide a balance view, I would have preferred a greater choice of vegan food—not everyone likes spicy food and the choice was limited. Something plainer like a meat free burger (like a McDonalds McPlant would have been perfect). But I appreciate, not everyone wants a vegan meal.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike. The quality of rooms, facilities and costs speak for themselves.

Disliked: Room was cold and carpets looked dated

Reasonable price stay

Liked: Reasonable pricing, great breakfast, great amenities but didnt have time to use them due to attending a competition
Disliked: Room was quite dated and a few of the items needed replacing, tap in bathroom was broken and lamp shade and carpet's in areas were stained

Liked: Myself and my husband had an overnight stay to break up our journey from the north east to the south West,on arrival, we were greeted at reception by Shane ,he was so welcoming, very chatty and just lovely ,he booked us in and gave us a voucher for a free drink in the bar .The room was beautifully clean and spacious, we were very comfortable. We went for dinner ,which was absolutely amazing, a lovely menu choice ,,the breakfast was also very nice ,it was help yourself,,we will definitely be happy to return to this hotel in the future

Liked: Property was lovely the swimming pool was amazing my son loved it.
Disliked: My son lost a toy behind the bed, we pulled it out and it was very very dusty. Also my son loved the pool it was such a shame on the Sunday we couldn’t fit one in as pool was closed to lessons till 2, And I think they need a bigger menu for the evening time, there wasn’t much chose. I booked breakfast and was sooo looking forward to it, but was disappointed as it was cold and rubbery, such a shame.
