Liked: Facilities for the breakfast. Nicely set out. Everything provided for the nice continental breakfast which was adequate.
Disliked: Can't think of anything that could be improved. If we had wished we could have gone to the Bistro for a full Scottish breakfast.

Liked: Centrally located in a beautiful tranquil setting, easily found with allocated parking space. Contact from staff was perfect and housekeeping staff very helpful. Stayed in the Sun Room which was lovely and included a small fridge to keep breakfast items chilled, as appropriate.
Disliked: There was no decaf tea and coffee. This won’t affect most people and not really a dislike just a personal preference.An extra bottle of water would have been appreciated.

Really picky thing, the continental breakfast would have been even better if it included some cheese and cold meats, but it comprised what it said it would and only cost a few ££ to add them myself.The pointer to The Village Rest for dinner was also great - lovely little spot and very reasonable price wise.

Liked: Model, clean and well-appointed room, with really good heating. A very comfortable bed. The bathroom is very modern and spacious.
Disliked: We stayed in the Sun Room, the breakfast area was lit by a lamp which did not provide sufficient lighting to eat our breakfast. Recommend a stronger light.Even though this is newly renovated the floorboards are really noisy from the point of entry all the way through. You could not be quiet. Doors were squeaky as well.The fire alarm in the bedroom had a green light that stays on and lights up the bedroom.
