A nice hotel close to...

Liked: Breakfast was included in the price and it was excellent. It was a buffet (with limited selection) and omelettes made to order. Friendly staff. The room had a kitchenette which was convenient.
Disliked: The tv channels were limited.

Poor Cleanliness & Lack Of...

Liked: I liked the location, it's on willow street, so it is close enough to get on and off the highway, but also very close to downtown shopping and little restaurants!
Disliked: Upon check in, I was waiting in line for over 10 mins ( that wasn't the issue) I had an issue with the extra clerk coming out and then proceeding to take the other people by the door when it was apparent me and others were in line before them.Once I finally got to the desk, the hotel proceeded to tell me that I needed to give them my card because I hadn't been charged yet. I brought up my banking and reference number and they still argued with me for a few moments before figuring out I had already prepaid via the booking app.We checked in a little after 4pm, went out shopping and exploring. When we returned to the hotel ( a little after 130/2am ) I was crawling into my bed after a long day ( and day light savings ) and I felt something touching my feet, I proceeded to pull back my bedding and found DIRTY, CRUMBLED UP SNOTTY TISSUES, IN MY BED !I honestly didn't know you laugh or cry. I called the front desk and I asked if I could have someone come change the bedding. The guy assured me he would be over in a few minutes. After 15 mins, he finally brought over 1 fitted sheet and 1 top sheet, and told me to change my bedding myself. I was astonished!Thankfully I always travel with my own blankets, but I should have been provided with new bedding period. After this ordeal, I honestly had a hard time being comfortable. I was grossed out by the thought of being in a dirty room, or at least a room with dirty bedding. I asked if there was a new room we could move too, the answer was no.The next morning when I was checking out I asked again if there was anything that could be done in forms on maybe a discount on my next stay or even some type of reimbursement because of my lack of satisfaction and I was promptly told no.When I asked for a paper receipt I was told I couldn't get one because I booked through booking app, then I was told I was going to be charged for my room since they didn't charge me the day before and asked to provide my card.
