Disappointed in Truro

Liked: Location was great, hot tub & pool are why we booked!Kitchenette setup and basic dishes in the rooms were great!Room was spacious, temp control was east & many design upgrades.
Disliked: The men’s urinal was overflowing, water rushing across the hallway and into the pool - staff seemed unbothered and didn’t have urgency in addressing. Also didn’t let the folks in the pool know. At time of booking (6-7 weeks early) we requested adjoining rooms, hotel replied they would do their best. Upon checking in we learned there are zero adjoining rooms in the ‘extended stay’ section where we booked. Would have been more honest/transparent to say that at time of booking. Initially we were assigned 2 rooms separate from each other. We have 4 young children which meant they’d be hopping back and forth through the parking lot since the adjoining rooms didn’t happen. Front desk staff did get us in rooms directly next to each other when this was brought up. The beds in the extended stay section aren’t as comfy as the beds in the main hotel. Trim & baseboards were in rough shape, caulking in washroom was not in good shape.

Disliked: Hot breakfast was actually cold temperature even tho warming covers were closed. Very disappointing. And the biscuits were dry and tasteless.
