Stayed one night so we could see a band at the Foundry. Perfect location, about 20 minute walk from the venue. Nice spacious room; really clean and comfortable. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were given a fresh pot of tea and some lemon cake on our arrival, which was a lovely touch. Breakfast was fabulous! This hotel will be our first choice next time we are in Torquay to see a band!

Liked: We loved this visit.The hosts were superb, going out of their way to make us as welcome as possible. They loaned our three year old some toys, moved our rooms without any fuss, made up a special bed for our little one and were just generally lovely.The rooms were great, really comfortable beds and all the amenities you could want, with plenty of coffee, tea, biscuits, sweets etc. The breakfast was also superb, with a delicious fry up available to order, as well as plenty of cereals, toast, fruit, yoghurt etc.At any price this would have been a lovely stay. For £72, it was absolutely superb.
Disliked: Nothing to add here really. We had a great stay.

Our hosts were very welcoming and friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped, and spotlessly clean.The cooked breakfast was really delicious.Would definitely recommend Glendower.
