The Glen Mhor Hotel offers Victorian townhouses and apartments located on the banks of the River Ness a 3-minute walk from Inverness city center and a 15-minute drive from Loch Ness. Accommodations is divided between 11 charming Victorian town houses (please advise reception if you have a building preference). Many rooms have wonderful views across the river to Inverness Cathedral and Eden Court Theater. The Ness Bank area is a charming conservation area in the city set below the castle and opposite both The Eden Court Theater and Inverness Cathedral. Glen Mhor is a 5-minute drive from the A9 8 miles from Inverness Airport and a 10-minute walk from the train station. It is ideal for exploring Inverness and the surrounding Highlands.

Exceptional value

Liked: Lovely, cosy, and spacious room. Stones throw from City Centre and right on the river for a lovely walk. We had a dog friendly room, which was absolutely spotless.

Great facility.. restaurants little expensive.....

Liked: Well furnished.. comfortable.. Great view over river..
Disliked: Drainage outside quite problematic as a result of rain at rear of propriety on exit.

All in all I would...

Liked: - nice old buildings - directly by the river - spacious rooms, equipped with everything you need, even incl. USB ports - Reception staff is friendly and reacts quickly to any kind of request
Disliked: - some facilities are visibly old-aged (especially in the bathroom) but all worked perfectly fine

Glen Mhor

Liked: I had the pleasure of staying at the Glen Mhor Hotel for one night, and it was a truly delightful experience. The hotel is cosy, clean, and extremely welcoming, making it feel like a home away from home. The staff were friendly and provided excellent local information, which was very helpful for exploring the area. Distillery is excellent, with some great gins, ales etc.The location is ideal, with easy access to nearby attractions and a charming atmosphere that adds to the experience. Although my stay was short, I left with a positive impression and look forward to visiting again. Highly recommend this lovely hotel for anyone seeking comfort and warmth during their travels!
Disliked: The bath had low water pressure and was a little cooler than I wanted it. Nothing bad though
