Polite staff
Liked: Room was cleaned daily and fresh towels provided. Although no kettle was provided in the room as standard, I was provided with a kettle, disposable cups and tea bags upon request.Accommodation had no lift, staff carried my large suitcase to the 2nd floor on my arrival.Adequate number of sockets in the room
Disliked: Tired decor, overall the property was very tired looking. Bed not very comfortable

Caring innkeepers and more than...
Liked: The staff here are absolute sweethearts, sunny and kind. The room was large and exceptionally clean, and the bed was comfortable with a good mattress and plenty of pillows. All in all, what you need for a night sleeping away from home. There was a desk and a reasonably comfortable chair, plus a couple of chairs for sitting that I didn't try. The room included a small fridge and a microwave, but unfortunately no coffee making facilities. The shower was good with sufficient water flow and hot water.
Disliked: Beyond that, the place is very basic and the exterior is run down, though everything essential is well maintained. Don't come here for the view of the other tier of rooms--you'll probably want to keep your curtains pulled. The parking is awkward, with tight stalls situated directly underneath the rooms. You might encounter some low-budget type revving their roaring monster truck for 20 minutes right below you. It's sad that $100 per night for one person is now "low budget" in motel terms but the people running this motel are doing their very best to make your stay a good one.
