Very good
Liked: Very comfortable beds, too narrow, though.Very cozy sitting room.Free tea and coffee.Overall, the stay was so good =)
Disliked: No enough sports to charge your devices. There was one extension cord with 4 sockets in the center of the room. No lamps near beds. Toilet and bathroom are inside the room and it could be a bit noisy

Fantastic
Liked: The room was clean and there was a toilet and bathroom in the room. The location was great. The staff were nice, I got a lower bunk when I asked for it which was great. Overall , everything was great but it was a short stay for me
Disliked: Nothing. Everything was perfect

Cute hostel
Liked: I loved the neighborhood this property was in however it is quite far from all the action in central Glasgow. I also loved the vibe of the property it felt very Victorian and beautiful.
Disliked: There is absolutely no elevator which made carrying luggage up and down the stairs a hassle.

A welcoming youth hostel in...
Liked: This is a youth hostel and not a luxury hotel so expectations have to reflect that. As a hostel it is superb. I had a private, en-suite room which was comfortable and met all my needs. I don't know what the dormitory accommodation is like. I stayed just before Christmas so the hostel, including my room, was very peaceful. I do not know what it would be like when it's busy but the building is spacious and I think it would be able to accommodate a lot of people without feeling crowded. There is a well-equipped kitchen in the basement. The staff were friendly and helpful. The building is in an upmarket part of town and would have been quite grand once. Many of the grand features such as a wooden staircase and a large lounge have been retained. Kelvingrove Park is across the road, Glasgow University, the museum and art gallery, the student quarter centred on Byres Road and bus stops to the city centre are all nearby.
Disliked: The bed duvet could have been bigger.
