Liked: Security was excellent, traffic noise could be a negative for some, not us. My husband was able to get plenty of toast and spreads for his breakfast. Basic cereals were in good supply. Milk was fresh. Bed was roomy and comfortable.
Disliked: I had to exit the property after check-in to get food as I am coeliac. We arrived after the kitchen shut down so we had to wait until morning to access some protein. Aircon struggled to keep us cool but the ceiling fan worked fine. Shower recess was dated and a bit mouldy in the corners.

Liked: Very close to ICC and light rail entertainment centre stop, just down the lift at Ian Thorpe centre to rail, and then across the tracks to ICC. Shared kitchen with coffee, juice and continental breakfast for you to help yourself. Bar downstairs had decent food and karaoke Friday and Saturday nights.

Liked: Location to the harbour is excellent . Staff were helpful and the food was good
Disliked: Very noisy transient hostel type hotel. Breakfast was a cupboard in the corridor with cereal and milk, a toaster and bread and a kettle with tea and coffee. You were expected to eat n you room but we had small table and 1 chair ! The shower and tiles needed a deep clean to get rid of the black mould . The noise from the junction was all through the night and the walls weee like tissue so you could hear everything in the next room .

Old style pub accomodation, clean...

Liked: Very convenient location to the ICC and city. Good pub down stairs with meals. For the price was a convenient place to stay for the night after a concert in the city rather than having to travel home.
Disliked: The kitchen area could have been a bit cleaner. The A/C was a bit noisy at night.

Liked: Location was great and the Staff were super helpful. The drinks were cheap down stairs and the food I had from the Bistro was awesome. I stayed mid-week so the noise was not bad - even being above a pub...and the bed was comfortable.
Disliked: The shower filled up when you were having one...it started almost straight away. Plenty of mold and cracked tiles so the bathroom was pretty average. Toilet paper was see-through and so very rough...I suggest bringing your own. The door doesn't lock from the inside so as a single female staying in a room this worried me a bit.
