Liked: Staff very friendly, room was lovely and the super king bed was so comfy. The food was great.

Just ok. 1 night is...

Liked: It’s a very dated hotel , although the staff are nice. It’s smells damp throughout. Old and needs refurbishing quite a bit on some of the communal areas. It just needs constant regular maintenance. The damp old smell - maybe invest in an air duct smelling system like modern hotels have. The smells makes it feel and look more dated and dirty than it actually is in some areas.
Disliked: SmellRun down areas

A super place to stay.

Liked: A lovely hotel with log fires, comfortable lounges and pleasant room. Friendly and efficient staff throughout the hotel but a special mention of Ruth in De Brus and Sarah at breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike.
