Wake up in the middle...

Liked: Lovely to wake up in the middle of a vineyard. The BBQ on the deck was wonderful for the bacon and egg breakfast. The room has everything we needed.
Disliked: No internet at all. Not even Telstra mobile worked, so felt cut off from the world .. which could be a good thing for some. Narrow dirt roads to the bungalows. Must turn up in daylight.

The place shouldn’t have been...

Liked: The winery grounds were beautiful
Disliked: The facility was under construction the restaurant and cellar door was not open which we didn’t know about. The staff (lack of) which we didn’t even see during the whole stay. Tv didn’t work properly. Items that where supposed to be there which they advertised were missing eg (no wifi no complementary bottle of champagne) I could go on but It was very disappointing for the money we paid. Could if stayed in a 4to5 star hotel in the city for the same price.

Incredible, staff went over and...

Liked: Breakfast was provided and easy to cook in the cottage. The sustainability of the cottage was amazing, knowing we were off the grid was fantastic. Staff were extremely helpful and catered to our extra requests for a birthday surprise, and we're extremely grateful for the extra effort. The cottage was well insulated, had good cooling, a great shower and overall was very pleasant.
Disliked: No reception on phones in the cottage and no wifi to help. We were completely without internet for our stay which was rough given we run a business. No stove-top, so frying in the electric fry pan is the only cooking that can happen. Sheets had a small stain (not a big deal). Check-out instructions weren’t clear and we couldn’t get an answer on the main phone number even after 10am when we just wanted to hand in our keys and pay.No instant coffee! Was dying for one but only an espresso machine that couldn’t fit a normal mug under it.

Relaxing Stay

Liked: Comfortable Eco Cottage. Nice outlook and nature. Good heating. We loved our stay. Being off grid was fantastic and very comfortable. Loved the info on the flora planted and ecology on the property.
Disliked: No wifi available and minimal mobile reception. The bed was a bit firm for me. Could I suggest a memory foam topper. Cost about $150 and transform beds to a very comfortable level.
