Staff were very friendly and happy to help. The hotel is in a good situation, close to the station and Hull City Hall.

OVERRUN WITH BED BUGS

Liked: If it wasn't overrun with bedbugs it would have been nice
Disliked: Bed bugs started coming out even with the lights on within 20 minutes of getting back to the rooms. The place is swarming with them. The reviews go back 10 years, and booking.com is refusing to refund mw unless the hotel email them confirmation of the bugs?? Absolutely disgusting. The hotel reception staff was wearing a filthy sweater and said all they could do was move us to another room. I had to pay nearly £600 to house us in another hotel, with no compensation from booking.com. utterly contemptible.

Liked: the room was very clean and big and the location was first class 2 minutes from town center everything about my holiday there was fantastic and booking again for next year

Grubby Appearance

Liked: Proximity to station. Room size. Had a lift.
Disliked: Grubby appearance. Shower was only a trickle.Looked much nicer on internet than in real life.People sitting on pavement drinking outside entrance gave place an undesirable feeling.

Served a purpose but would...

Liked: Close to where we needed to be. Clean rooms.
Disliked: Very noisy from pub below. No aircon and unable to open window due to noise was like a hot box, in the morning we were soaked with sweat before we left. Hairdryer smoked when attempted to use. When using iron electric kept switching off.
