Amazingly well designed and cosy...

Liked: The lodge was fantastic. Parking was generous and we particularly enjoyed the ambiance of the lodge with the fireplace and turn down service each day. The bathroom was also generously sized.
Disliked: Gym was small and would have liked to have been able to cast from your phone or iPad onto the tv in the room.

Liked: The property was fabulous from check in to check out. All the staff were extremely friendly and very welcoming. The room was well appointed with lots of little fine touches such as a candle and matches by the bath. The wine tasting was fun to do, the food in the restaurant was delicious, we ate in there both nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. I had a facial in the spa which was the best I’ve had in a long time. We were sad to leave and would happily have spent a few more days there exploring the vineyards and relaxing. But I have to say the staff made it! Thank you for looking after us so well, we will be back!
Disliked: Absolutely nothing!

Disappointing would not stay again

Liked: Breakfast basic not value for price Should have been included in accommodation not a separate package
Disliked: For the cost we expected at least a welcome glass of wine and cheese platter daily as they are a winery and have their own cheese deli dwe received this every day at Stoneridge down the road from Gibbston lodge at the same price
