Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Lynette Thu, 9 January 2025

Accommotion very poor, staff excellent.

Liked: The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. There was an extremely limited dinner menu, but the quality of the food was good.
Disliked: The hotel is in need of a total refurbishment, colour scene is drab and old fashioned, parts of it felt like a nursing home.

Disliked: If I had to pick something...the room was a little dated....but that didn't detract in any way from our stay.

Liked: Beautiful dining room with fantastic views overlooking the valley and the well kept gardens. Easy for wheelchair with lifts and accessible to all areas. Lovely room with same views loved it! Great food. We had 90th birthday, which was set up in a large private dining room with roaring fire comfortable sofas and chairs, Christmas tree and Christmas flowers perfect for a family gathering large or small children had room to play too. Thank you Gibbon Bridge to all staff for making our stay perfect.
Disliked: Nothing All perfect.
