For the price and one...

Liked: Room was as expected for the price.Breakfast was great
Disliked: Car park was the worst I have ever come across. If you have a bigish car don’t bother. Very stressful. Room smelt like bleach

Just a Test Run -...

Liked: The restaurant downstairs. Great food, lovely staff.
Disliked: The noise from other rooms was audible - people laughing and conversing & getting together. AND - AT STUPUD-O'CLOCK, THE EMERGENCY FIRE ALARM SYSTEM WAKING ME UP JUST AS I'D GOT TO SLEEP. AND AFTER REPEATING UNNECESSARILY LOUDLY & CONTINUOUSLY FOR 10 OR SO MINUTES, IT JUST TURNED OFF & THERE WAS NO ANNOUNCEMENT OF EXPLANATION OR APOLOGY.When I checked out I was told I'd have to sit & wait while someone checked my room before they'd give me a refund of the security deposit, which I'd paid in cash. I had a long-distance bus to catch, so the 10-minute wait was inconvenient (& insulting! At 80yrs, did I look as though I might have trashed the room??)

A weekend in Brisbane city.

Liked: We arrived into Brisbane city on the Airtrain (trains every 30 minutes) from the international terminal - the hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Roma street station. There are a few convenience stores within a block of the hotel for milk and other basic supplies. It was just over 10 minutes walk to the Queen street pedestrian mall - plenty of shopping and food outlets.A similar walking distance to the North Quay pier for boarding the city cat ferries. The room was clean and tidy and desk staff were friendly.

Disappointing

Liked: The room was a good space . Location is great to all modes of public transportation
Disliked: What was very disappointing was a couple of things. 1. Was the room around the corner from mine was a Indian family staying their they were so inconsiderate when talking loud so everyone could here from the rooms next to them and it was not a pleasant thing hearing the male constantly coughing his lungs up . 2. Was the second night when I was asleep was rudely woken up due to the lady in the room next door on the phone talking loud so all can her her conversation this was 00:35 and once I was woken up hearing her loud voice it took ages to re fall asleep Also on the day of check out it was horrible that the lift smelt like simone had taken a shit inside it brown liquid on the carpet and when the lift door opened you are faced with more brown liquid in front of the other lift door , informed the front desk and then one male staff member was walking backwards to take a trolley in the lift I walked back and said just watch where you stand so he didn’t stand in the mess, that staff member just ignored what I Said .
