Great choice for academic visitors

Liked: The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Having some coffee and tea available was a nice touch. The bed was large, modern and comfortable, and I slept great. It is only a short walk to the University of Otago and the adjacent hospital.
Disliked: The WiFi was occasionally a little bit slow.

Disliked: ​I recently stayed at this accommodation, and overall, it was satisfactory. The property met my expectations in terms of cleanliness and amenities. However, I encountered issues with the host's transparency regarding the cancellation policy. When I inquired about the possibility of canceling my booking due to having made it at an inconvenient time, the host informed me that Booking.com does not permit cancellations. This information was misleading, as Booking.com had sent the host a request for a free cancellation, which he declined. It's important for future guests to be aware of this discrepancy when considering this accommodation.
