Located on the A170 between Helmsley and Pickering the George and Dragon Inn is in the heart of the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. It offers full English breakfasts free Wi-Fi and free parking. Originally a 17th-century coaching inn its rooms are spacious and come with a TV. Each also has facilities for making tea and coffee and an private bathroom with a hairdryer. The George and Dragon serves traditional pub food and real ales. Guests can dine in the bistro and fine-dining restaurant and relax in the garden. Kirkbymoorside is an old market town with a partially cobbled main street. Scarborough and Whitby are both less than 25 miles from the building. Wonderful stay & would definitely...

Liked: Convenient location for nearby Dalby Forest. Really clean & comfy room. Very friendly & efficient staff. Fantastic food & lovely relaxed atmosphere in the restaurant. Highly recommend staying here!
Disliked: Virtually non-existent shower pressure :0(

Great value for money, thank...

Liked: Great service as always, very friendly staff. Rooms are clean and tidy. Evening meal was great quality and great value for money. Breakkfasts are also plentiful. We are a repeat visitor to the Geaorge and Dragon and it ticks all of our boxes
Disliked: Maybe a few mmore cereals to chose from at breakfast for the children please
