Liked: We absolutely loved our stay at the General Warren. The staff was exceptional! They were all kind, friendly, and helpful. The place was beautiful, and the food was amazing.

Warm and welcoming. We would...

Liked: It was just as advertised. The welcome was warm and we got to choose our room after seeing them ( this doesn’t always happen, but it was wonderful to see them all). They all had their charm, but we chose the Warren. It was amazing . The shower was small, but had hot water and wonderful pressure. The bed was super comfy and the sitting area was perfect for a couple. The check in and check out were smooth. Breakfast was yummy and everyone associated with the property was wonderful and welcoming.

Pleasant stay with a few...

Liked: Nice sitting area and location. Breakfast was good. Dining room where we ate breakfast with all the windows was enjoyable.
Disliked: Mattress was hard and room smelled like smoke. Shower was tiny. Carpet was very soiled.

Exceptional

Wonderful stay at an historic...

Liked: A very quiet location. Great history, with a book documenting it available for browsing. Restaurant serves only dinner and because we attended a wedding nearby we only had the included continental breakfast. Recommend the blueberry scones!
Disliked: We were on the top (3rd) floor and the A/C was a bit colder than we prefer and I didn't seem to be able to control it. It was after hours when I tried so there was no staff available to ask. Not a big deal though.
