My stay was disappointing mostly...

Liked: Location, historic esthetics
Disliked: No grab bars in the shower for slippery tub. As a senior citizen, I had to put a hand towel in the tub to keep from falling. Very inconvenient access to my room #318 to get luggage to the room. There were six stairs I had to climb with luggage because there was no ramp for the luggage cart. Due to the hurricane situation, none of the restaurants in the hotel were open the two days I was there so I didn't get to experience them. I had to evacuate the hotel on short notice due to water treatment loss. I had planned to stay a third day. I am not blaming the hotel for any of the hurricane related situations, but it factored in to my overall experience for which I drove over 700 miles to attend my 54th class reunion in Greeneville. Although I was inconvenienced, it was nothing compared to the thousands of people who lost so much due to the devastation from the hurricane. Just really bad timing for anyone visiting the area.

Nice Stay in Greeneville

Liked: Interesting history of the hotel, large spacious room, nice bathroom and shower, very clean and nicely decorated, pleasant staff.
Disliked: Very noisy. My room faced the street, so I got lots of traffic noise. I also got noise from the adjacent room and squeaking floors.

Disliked: A little dated, could use some upgrades.
