It was a beautiful hotel...

Liked: Beautiful hotel. Nice rooms. Good location with attractions in the harbor and close to DC. The attractions were great too. Ice. Cirque. The evening light shows. Had a magnificent dinner at Old Hickory. It was easy to get ahold of someone at the front desk to get questions answered.
Disliked: We went during what is presumably a peak time. A couple days after Christmas. The check in process was a little confusing. Multiple people handled our bags so it was hard to know who to tip. The areas around the cafe were so crowded it was hard to find a place to sit. Elevators were so crowded we had a hard time getting on one. Someone should be there to help organize the crowds into a line. Nothing is provided. Nothing except a bottle of wine given to us because we were on our honeymoon. That was very nice, but we don’t drink. You overpay for every meal. You overpay for parking. On top of it there is a resort fee. I tried to get in the pool and was told to get out because it was break time. Then when break ended so many kids got in I couldn’t swim. The hot tubs were all closed or broken. I asked the lifeguard if they have an adult swim time and he said no. Why not let the adults swim during the break?

What a wonderful holiday stay...

Liked: The Christmas holiday is always a festive time at the Gaylord, the beautiful trees, the laser show and the sheer joy of being amongst people of all walks of life.
Disliked: I can’t think of anything I was dissatisfied with.

Liked: Hotel as beautifully decorated and Clean.
Disliked: The room was located far from the elevator. It took us 3 minutes of walking to get from the elevator to our room. For the price we paid, the view was HORRIBLE!!! And we booked a king room and were given 2 double beds.
