Exceptional

Liked: Christine was absolutely wonderful. There was a leak in our room so she put us in another room. Turns out the water pipes were breaking and so we were upgraded to a private cottage at no charge. I booked the stay to stay in the mansion itself, however the place is so magnificent that I will be returning to hopefully stay in the room we originally booked. Breakfast each day was brought to us and it was so amazing. Christine is an absolute wonderful hostess. We will definitely go back soon.

Great place for a romantic...

Liked: The Breakfast was wonderful! the Garth Juice was a fav!
Disliked: The fireplaces did not work and never got fixed during our stay, we never could figure out how to get the TV to work either.

Great place with amazing staff

Liked: The main house is a really imposing structure with some stunning period interior and a well thought-out and consistent style. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was great and because the place wasn’t busy when I was there it was made a la carte for me.However, the best part of my stay was the staff. All of them were very attentive and went out of their way to help. I got to choose my own breakfast options, they drove me downtown, took me on a tour of the house and helped me out with the rest of my journey. Extra shout to Travis and Michelle whom were both great.
Disliked: Worth considering is that it can be hard to find taxis or rent a car/bike in the area. If you want to go between the mansion and sights/downtown make sure you have a car before you get there

Liked: Very friendly staff, luxurious accommodations and breakfast to die for. I highly recommend staying here.

Liked: The service, accommodations and food were exceptional.
Disliked: We stayed in a cottage, and thought it was private. We realized there was another occupant in the basement, and that was a little alarming. We realized it because we could here him coughing in the middle of the night and it spooked us for a moment.
