Not friendly reception staff
Liked: “The breakfast staff at the hotel was friendly, polite and helpful! They were incredibly attentive, They greeted guests with a smile and were quick to assist with any requests
Disliked: I had a terrible experience at this hotel. The room was very small and outdated and not worth the money I paid for. The breakfast was extremely disappointing. The selection was limited and the quality was poor. For the price of the stay, I expected something much better. But the worst part was the reception staff—unfriendly, unprofessional, and completely unhelpful. She acted like she doesn’t care less about us and even seemed annoyed when I asked for basic things.Would definitely NOT stay again here.

Very poor choice & overpriced!
Liked: There were some nice potted plants in front of the entry.
Disliked: The room was small, old & outdated. The staff was unfriendly & not helpful. The location was not near any restaurant. The breakfast was minimal with burnt crescents and the price was way too high for such an old place. I think we were the only ones staying there.

Not worth the money; I...
Liked: The breakfast was OK. There were a large variety of food. Soundproofing of the room was satisfying. Despite the fact that the railway is near the hotel we nearly couldn't hear anything noisy.
Disliked: I strongly recommend that the female receptionist reconsider her career in hospitality and tourism. Here’s why:We decided to extend our stay by one more night and first asked the woman at the front desk if this was possible. She bluntly told us no, which was puzzling because we could see on Booking.com that there were several rooms available. We then asked the male receptionist, who was courteous and promptly confirmed that we could indeed stay another night. Together, we informed the female receptionist of our extended stay, and she acknowledged it without issue.Later that night, around 10-11 p.m., we returned to the hotel and noticed that our room keycard no longer worked. We called the reception for assistance. After several attempts, the female receptionist finally answered but, despite being responsible for not updating our keycard access, she refused to help. Instead, she suggested we call the other receptionist or even sleep in the corridor! Fortunately, the male receptionist eventually answered our call and returned to the hotel to resolve the issue.I have never encountered a receptionist who so completely disregarded the needs and comfort of guests.

Superb
Liked: I'm not sure why others didn't like the hotel. We found the hotel quite nice. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly. Although the place looked run-down from the outside, it was cozy inside. Breakfast was okay.I didn't have the time to write a review, but the only reason I'm writing now is that I believe this hotel deserves a better rating than its current one.
Disliked: If my partner hadn't been there, I would have driven away just by looking at the outside. It doesn't look inviting. The restaurant wasn't functional when we were there, but luckily, there was a nice place in front of the hotel. Other than that, everything is a bit far away. However, there's a train station that can take you to the town.
