Absolutely fantastic!

Liked: Great to have a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Loved the balcony access!! Very easy to find and close by for or Uber to many attractions, restaurants and shopping.

Excellent hosts in a charming...

Liked: This is a long overdue review. My dude and I stayed here during the historic snowstorm in January where a record-breaking 10" of snow shut down the whole city. The owners made sure we had food to survive (their own home cooked meal), plus scouted out any restaurants that were open in the aftermath of the storm within walking distance of the b&b. They checked in on us regularly to make sure we were comfortable and kept the ice cleared from the entrance so we could come and go. Very welcoming, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of in spite of the wild weather.
Disliked: All was perfect!

It was a wonderful stay!

Liked: The historic house was unique and beautiful. Loved that we had two separate rooms and a bathroom. The clawfoot tub was great! Ray was a delight. Great location. Would love to come back.
Disliked: The heating unit was a little loud, but how often do you need heat in New Orleans?! We were there on an unusually cold week in January.

Location, property and host were...

Liked: Location and host were exceptional. We loved knowing the history of the house and the neighborhood. Thank you for all the local recommendations and warm welcome. We felt like family.
Disliked: The breakfast options were startlingly sparse and somewhat felt like an afterthought. A bit shocking for such a food-centric city and for the title of "bed and breakfast," to be honest. Raynelle's home baked goods were lovely, as was the Keurig coffee, but the that is about all I can say in that light. It's not enough to deter us from staying again, but if expectations are high, check those at the door. :-)

Liked: The owners were fabulous and extremely helpful, the neighborhood was beautiful, safe, and convenient, and the breakfast (although cold only) was excellent.

Great host, great stay

Liked: Excellent friendly host and located in a green and safe neighbourhood with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Main part of city is about 1 hr walk away.
Disliked: This is an old property which is part of its charm but has not been upgraded/renovated. AC is a little noisy when on so it couldn’t be left on at night which could have been an issue if the weather was more severe. Apart from this rooms were comfortable.

Liked: Ray could not have been nicer! This B&B isperfectly located on a quiet street. It was supereasy to catch a bus, cable car, or call an Uber. We hope to return. Thanks, Raynell!

We had a wonderful time...

Liked: The owner was gracious and accommodating and the location was ideal for great dining and shopping. The Garden District is beautiful and inviting.
Disliked: The bathroom is a little tight if you have any mobility issues
