I would stay again if...

Liked: Very friendly staff. Restaurant was very nicely decorated. Breakfast was very tasty but personally I like my sausage to look cooked - it was vey pale like it hadn't been cooked at all.
Disliked: Bathroom was far too small. You could barely stand in there. The toilet is very close to the shower. Around the shower base was not very clean. Too many stairs to the room at the top of the hotel. Having said that it is not their fault they are not allowed to put a lift in because of the age of the building.

Pleasant

Liked: The hotel was Very central to the sights, shops and restaurants and bars, Downside was very noisy at night was music and people talking to late at night. then getting a wake up call at 05:30 with the bins and glass collections, so not ideal.
Disliked: The room could have been cleaner with dust build up. The shower was very poor with the water trickling out. you could only order 1 thing from the breakfast menu, so if you wanted cereals or something cooked you couldnt have toast with preserve. and only 1 drink tea/ coffee, an option for a juice would have been nice

Liked: Good location excellent breakfast
Disliked: Room was small but was expected with being a small double bed room

Great location, great staff

Liked: (Room8) We understand the hotel is an old building, full of character and quirkiness but we found the bathroom very small. In the shower you could hardly move, there was no where to put your shampoo etc, and for a woman who doesn’t want to wash her hair every time she has a shower there was no sliding shower only a drencher which was too big for the enclosure which resulted in water coming over the top. There were no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels and the extractor fan did not work. The quality of the mattress was very poor. The staff were lovely as was the breakfast.

Liked: Beautiful building and a fabulous location will definitely recommend this hotel and will return myself.
Disliked: The beds in our room were abit to hard but that's just my preference, it hasn't put me off wanting to book again.
