Each room is sympathetically restored in keeping with the historic character of the buildings. Rooms are split between 2 buildings: a Georgian townhouse above the wine bar and an older timber-framed building. The wine bar at Gales has fresh home-cooked food and an extensive wine list.

Quirky and comfortable

Liked: Location and it’s quite quirkyRoom was comfortable. With a good tea and coffee tray.
Disliked: It can be a little noisy as rooms are above the bar and on a busy street

Disliked: The property needs investment. It needs to upgrade the bathrooms and refurbish the bedroom.Very noisy on the Saturday night. Impossible to sleep until after 1.00am!
