Hotel Description
A lochside lodge sitting on the northern shore of Loch Gairloch with sea and mountain views and easy access to sandy beaches. Gairloch Sands Youth Hostel offers guests a range of comfortable private and shared rooms. None of the rooms are en-suite but ample shower and washroom facilities are available. Guests can opt for a breakfast of cereal Scottish yogurt fresh fruit tea and coffee. Please note our well-equipped self-catering kitchen is open. The hostel is licensed so guests can enjoy a beer malt whiskey or glass of wine while relaxing in the cozy lounge with panoramic views over Gairloch the Torridon hills Skye Cullins and outer Hebrides. WiFi is free for all guests and other facilities include lockers a laundry and a small drying room. Basic provisions confectionery and soft drinks are available to purchase at reception and the nearest shop is only a five minute walk away. The hostel has onsite parking facilities for up to 13 cars. The hostel is also available for exclusive private rental.

Youth Hostel with a great...

Liked: Great location Beautiful lounge to sit in for the evening, great for watching the sunset
Disliked: location of guest fridge really awkward especially if other people are cooking. Could be placed in a better location

Excellent, would definitely recommend for...

Liked: Location was absolutely amazing, probably helped by the weather but still exceptional views, facilities excellent, friendly staff and super comfortable beds
Disliked: Nothing particularly, other guests could be more considerate when coming to bed late but that’s nothing to do with the Youth Hostel and just other people being un-thoughtful towards others in this day and age
