For the £ paid this...

Liked: Breakfast excellent - hotel sourced quality bacon, sausage etc and plenty of it. Plenty of good strength tea ! Justin and Jack jovial at all times. Nothing too much trouble. Bedroom supplied with ample tea, coffee and milk. All very comfortable.
Disliked: I know what I like and I like what I know. I will return to this hotel when next down from Scotland. Enough said.

Not a hotel if you...

Liked: Room was clean, bed was ok, heating was so hot
Disliked: I’m registered blind, I found it very difficult to get up the stairs as there was no handrails on the 2 sections of small stairs, woke up during the night by other guests, and most of all I paid for breakfast through booking.com but according to the hotel we didn’t pay for it, I’m blind not stupid, booklet in the room said breakfast was £7.99 but management said it was £9.50 each,2 breakfasts and lots of coffee at Wetherspoons just a short drive away £14. Hotel had a bar but was never open.
