Liked: The G hotel is a lovely quirky gem situated in a very pretty spot in Southsea. The staff are friendly and efficient, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was cooked perfectly.

Perfect small hotel for a...

Liked: Very good room, cosy but with distinctive fitments, comfy bed, nice biscuits with tea/coffee tray. Ok shower over bath. Fab breakfast in striking dining room, two lovely ladies in charge. Parking out front.
Disliked: Getting in and out of the bath, would have liked a wall mounted grab rail over the bath for safety.

Fabulous in every way!

Liked: Wonderful individual rooms. Extremely comfy beds. Lovely ensuite. All staff are really friendly and helpful. Delicious breakfast buffet, and individual choice hot breakfast, made fresh to order.Fabulous location in Southsea, for the great independent shops, cafes, pubs, restaurants, Wedgewood Rooms for gigs, and King’s Theatre, all in Albert Road. Also close to the sea, and with brilliant public transport links to Gunwharf Quay, Portsmouth City centre, etc. Bus stop right outside the hotel. Also several parking spaces on site (first come, first served), or free parking permit for parking on the road.Can’t recommend highly enough!

An excellent place

Liked: Convenient for both the sea and Fratton Park (five mins to the former, Trent mins to the latter). Comfortable and good sized room. Very good breakfast and very friendly staff.
Disliked: The decor is not to my taste but that's hardly important!!
