Liked: Was a quirky room - decorated nicely and clean
Disliked: We stayed on a Friday night. When we returned at around 11:30pm from our trip to London there was a party still going on in the pub! The volume of the music was extremely loud so we went to our room only to find the music was exceptionally loud in our bedroom still! We waited until 1am when we went to complain and was told was going to stop which it did! Spoke to other guests at that time who had complained at 12 and were told it was due to stop but it didn’t! After music stopped was still noise of furniture scraping for a while after? When complained in morning was told it was Christmas and they had Christmas parties and couldn’t do anything about it? Was not bothered or apologetic!! Was not informed beforehand at any point that exceptionally loud music would be playing until 1am!!Room was really small particularly the bathroom.No instructions for the coffee machine.Wouldn’t recommend and certainly not value for money as not cheap rooms!

Liked: Your staff are absolutely brilliant, friendly welcoming helpful they really do make you feel they enjoy their work
Disliked: Not the hotels fault the storm did make sleep difficult

Disliked: the noise outside of the room, cracking ceiling, heating not performing wellno breakfast served

Liked: Beautifully presented hotel and only a short walk to the tube station for access to London

Disappointing! Specially as this is...

Liked: The people who checked us in where very polite and offered us a drink. It was clean and cozy.
Disliked: The property is very old (very bad insulation) and they where having a private event with live (very loud) music. We tried to change a room which was not possible, and then asked until what time the live event would take place…1am. We could here the singer literally under our pillow so sadly we packed our bags and headed back home to have a restful sleep. They claimed they clearly state into the weeks coming up to Christmas they would have live music thurs-sat…..NEVER saw this! Would have not booked.
