Will definitely stay here again now that I know what to expect. Rooms are for sleeping only.

I recommend if you want...

Liked: You get what you pay for, it was the cheapest option in LA, clean bedding and bathroom within the quad room with towel and blanket per bed
Disliked: Unfortunately and not the property’s fault but a women in the room was SO sick she should have been sharing a hospital ward not a hostel room putting everyone at risk. Her flu/bacteria/virus may have been shared with us all. If you’re sick, book your own isolated room or find other accommodation to be fair to other guests and staff.

In town as Grammy nominees...

Liked: The location and vibe of the hotel are great.
Disliked: We booked this hotel for its proximity to the Grammys. I even asked before hand if we could swim in the morning before the Grammys. Or the morning after before we flew back home. Obviously we booked the hotel also for its rooftop pool which is the first picture you see when booking. They fail to tell you upfront that the pool is only open from noon to sundown. So because our grammys ceremonies began at 11:30 and we didn't get back till dark then had to check out at 11 the next day we didn't even get to go to the roof. We even pleaded with the security guard our situation and he was very rude and sent us away even though we could clearly hear there was still people on the roof. He said we are closing. I said we just want to see the view this is the main reason we booked this hotel. And he said rudely we'll it opens at 12 tomorrow. And I very nicely said but we check out at 11 to fly home. This was the main reason we booked this hotel. And he said well we open at 12 tomorrow. I honestly want some of my money back because it wasnt a cheap hotel. Aren't most hotel pools normally open between like 8 am to 10 pm? 12 is absurd.

Liked: Room was very comfortable with big, clean bathroom, comfortable bed. Tons of options of food and shopping near the hotel, public transportation was also very convenient. Felt as safe as it can
Disliked: no smart TV or dishwashing liquid in the common kitchen (wanted to wash my water bottle and couldn't)
