Liked: The room upstairs was spacious and comfortable. 100% blackout curtains were great.Nspresso coffee machine was there, but no pods supplied?Free access to spa facilities Loved that the pool led to outdoors Freshly prepared breakfast made to order£348 Fri to Mon incl breakfast for 2 - not bad priceVery down to earth & friendly staffIf you don't want the Spa, then it's a lovely cosy place to stay.
Disliked: January is a quiet month, but the spa changing area was very small & very busy.Robes/slippers/lockers had an additional fee. Many of the spa jet/jacuzzi buttons did not work.Housekeeping did not come on our 1st day, so we then put DND sign on and replenished fresh items via reception. Enabling us to fully relax.The shower head in the room was static and the temperature was difficult to regulate.TV was a tad too small for the distance from the bed - I'm longsighted but struggled to see. Looked more luxurious online - a tad disappointed IRL, but it was satisfactory for the price. I'd give it 6½/10 .

Liked: This is our second time staying in this hotel, because we liked everything last time we came back.Nice and clean, staff were polite, peaceful place.
Disliked: Spa facilities are supposed to open 7am, but we found it closed. We waited more than an hour, then realised it was still not available. Then we talked to the reception, but at reception, they were surprised that it's not open! Then we couldn't have the facilities. We booked it mainly for spa facilities but it was a big disappointment.
