Liked: Great position . Very helpful staff .
Disliked: Right outside of room windows are the staircase down to Waverley; had to have curtains drawn closed all the time.Impossible to descend iron stairway to Waverly to get tram / train with large luggage ; had to get a taxi to airport (gbp 35)

Liked: Convenient location, Good and friendly receptionist. There was direct Scottish mineral water in the room. The bar was perfect. The bathroom was clean and well appointed. The room was warm and the view from the window was ok. The gym is well facilitated and works well.
Disliked: For breakfast, the food was mostly cold and not very good. I stayed on the 7th floor and had to take the lift and then the stairs inconveniently. The room was a bit narrow for the price. The cleaning service came too early and disturbed us to tidy up in the morning.

Liked: Fantastic location right in the old town on the Royal Mile. Nice size bed, lovely & comfortable. Good linen & pillows. Apartment was spacious. Nice size bathroom with walk in shower. Edinburgh Castle a little walk away. Staff were very friendly.
Disliked: Nothing
