Lovely hotel, welcoming staff with...

Liked: The hotel couldn’t be more central in Edinburgh, the average walk was around 10 minutes to get anywhere. The room was comfortable and spacious. The staff were amazing, the Spanish lady on reception checked us in and out, was very welcoming and professional. Would definitely recommend.

It was just ok, could...

Liked: Good location, very close to the castle.
Disliked: Not really able to drop off luggage with a vehicle. Hotel is also in the LEZ, so check your car before going.The room we had looked onto the News Steps, so no privacy in the room unless we kept the curtains closed.Bathroom was also a little tired and dirty in places
