A fantastic location for families...

Liked: Hi there, We had a terrific stay, with comfortable beds & pillows, a clean room and great shower. We were always met with a friendly staff member ready to assist us with any questions or requests!
Disliked: The only thing I can think of that would the improve the quality of our stay next time is some time and attention to the camp kitchen. The cost for families to visit K’gari is substantial & not everyone can afford to eat out for every meal. Catering to those will keep them coming back.

fabulous location

Liked: Fabulous location on Fraser Island. Close to walks on the beach, driving on the beach and inland driving to scenic spots and some wonderful lake swimming. The store is well equipped so if you forget anything you can stock up. Fuel can also be purchased there and pay phone in case of emergency.
Disliked: We had a smoke/fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. On the first night it went off at 2 AM and woke us all up, then again at 4 and 5 AM so we did not get a good sleep. We told the management about it but the guy who came didn't know how to fix it. So we had 2 sleepless nights because of a faulty fire alarm going off in the middle of the night on what was supposed to be a relaxing summer vacation. Unfortunate but considering this is a remote place, sometimes things don't work as you would prefer.
