Great place, great staff, great...

Liked: The breakfast both days were great. Fresh cream and Strawberry jam were great. Paul was very helpful with a lot of local knowledge.

Liked: This is a historic place to stay that offers two large porches that are available to all guests, one on the first story and one on the second story. On the porches there were comfortable chairs to sit on with views of the shaded yard. The breakfast was one of the best breakfasts we have had at any bed and breakfast. The food was homemade with gluten free options.

Great place to stay if...

Liked: Breakfast was great. Beds were comfortable. Easy walk to downtown Franklin. Very welcoming staff & attentive to our needs.
Disliked: Shower very, very small.

Sad, hoping they are in...

Liked: The location was perfect. The sheets and towels are new and very nice. Because of this, Im hopeful that they are in the process of updating things. It was very clean but run down and tired. They have a gem of a place that needs some attention.
Disliked: It was very run down and the bed was too hard for my taste. The furniture in the room and on the porch needed to be replaced or repaired. Wall paper was showing signs of a past leak and is faded.
