Liked: Location in frankenmouth was ideal.
Disliked: Evening receptionist suggested there was a discrepancy between booking.com and the motel’s pricing. We booked a handicapped room with two queen sized beds (described as “large double beds” on British booking.com) and a regular double room (described as “double” beds on British booking.com.) We were initially given two normal double rooms and when we queried this, we were informed that there is a different price for the handicapped room as it is a different type of room, but we had paid more for the handicapped room when we booked it. She did change it and we got our handicapped room so it was all sorted in the end but it does appear that their system shows different information.Also, the pipes froze so our family staying in the handicapped room were unable to have a shower, the hotels owners were very apologetic and offered to let us use another room for the shower, but the other rooms had a bathtub shower which wasn’t accessible for our disabled family member. Not the hotel owners fault at all though and they were very helpful and apologetic.

Great value. Great comfort

Liked: Location is excellent and very convenient, located nearby the river shops and not too far from downtown Frankenmuth as well.The motel seemed to have been updated fairly recently, the beds were very clean and comfortable. Pillows are much better than even more expensive hotels I've stayed at recently, the neighborhood surrounding the motel was very quiet, so our night was very relaxing.Overall, a great affordable .motel. will definitely be returning.
