Restricted facilities due to refurbishment...

Liked: Very good facilities for price despite ongoing refurbishment. Good breakfast, pleasant staff
Disliked: No guidance on use of showers, got unwanted cold sprays find out out. Banging doors in annex.

Superb hotel in middle of...

Liked: Lovely hotel, great service. Room quiet, clean & super comfy.Location fab. Despite going through refurbishment, the staff & organisation superb.Breakfast was complimentary, good quality.

A well needed relaxing break...

Liked: The room was a good size and I loved the decor.The bed was wonderfuly comfy.The bathroom was a good size and the shower was step free which was good as my partent has some mobility issues and this was a great help.The breakfast was excellent.The hot food selection was good and my partner said the sausages were particulary good.I liked the yoghurt and seed options.
Disliked: The only two gripes which are really very small were that the pillows wer too soft and didn't support my heead very well.The shower knobs were a little confusing and very sensitive.Often ended up with both the rainforest shower head and the other head going at the same timebut as I say they are very minor issues

Lovely hotel with very friendly...

Liked: Room was really nice, large comfortable bed, good tea and coffee facilities plus fridge with drinks in, staff were very friendly and helpful,

From the moment we walked...

Liked: We stayed here around 30 years ago and loved it. My husband and I thought we would have a little weekend away and stayed here again. We were not disappointed. We were upgraded to a newly renovated room and it was fantastic! The hotel is currently going through some renovations, but it hasn’t affected the service you receive or the quality of your stay.
Disliked: Beautiful property and great location. If you can’t get parking at the hotel there is a public car park a short walk away.
