Absolutely lovely hotel in a...

Liked: Great location, beautiful furnishings and architecture, very comfortable, spacious and clean room.
Disliked: Whilst we did know in advance about the current refurbishment in process to the hotel, the noise from the contractors could be heard before 7.30am which was a little early!

Liked: The location was brilliant for the Xmas market.Lovely staff and amazingly clean.
Disliked: There is a large refurbishment going on with scaffolding covering the whole of the hotel which meant that we had no view from our window and had to keep our curtains closed. The hotel DID NOT inform us of this prior to arrival! Our room was very tired, curtains had wholes in them and were dirty. Woodwork in room badly scratched. Aircon unit filthy with clogged dust. Shower head old and dirty!

A lovely hotel, good facilities...

Liked: The food was lovely, both breakfast and evening meal. The staff were excellent, especially Roxanne in the dining room, Bella who made excellent cocktails , Sophie on reception. The furnishings and ambience were comfortable and welcoming.
Disliked: We found the pillows too soft for neck support; it would have been good to have a choice. The mattress was rather hard, we were waking with stiff backs.
