Liked: The room was large and comfortable with both a bath and a shower. There were tea making facilities in the room and a nice view over the gardens. We were there for a birthday party so did not use any of the leisure facilities but the main building is well furnished.
Disliked: We were in an annex to the main building and, as it was raining hard, we were disappointed to find there were no umbrellas available to keep us dry as we moved from the annex to the main building (for breakfast). Breakfast options were quite limited with no choice of bread for toast (white sliced only), no croissants left, even quite early in the morning and, although there seemed to be a lot of staff around it was difficult to attract their attention to order and also to ask for butter which should have been on the table but wasn't. For the amount we paid I was disappointed in the food options and levels of service

Beautiful hotel and grounds.

Liked: Beautiful location and main building was very comfortable. Enjoyed the golf and spa.
Disliked: Some of the staff in the Fox Dining Room were very inexperienced whilst others were very good.Didn't like the fact that one of our party of 6 had their starter at least 15 minutes before the rest of us.
