Friendly, efficient, tranquil, beautiful location.

Liked: Excellent breakfast, I like how it's laid out, both the food and the dining room. I love how the hotel retains an atmosphere from the early twentieth century yet is firmly in the twenty-first! The best of both worlds. This includes an unspoiled location where they respect and take care of the grounds, strong connection with the local community and, most importantly, very friendly staff. The second time I've stayed, and I intend to return.
Disliked: Breakfast coffee a bit lacklustre, but that's a minor quibble. The vegetarian menu at dinner was delicious but a bit limited, with not a lot of vegetables.

Liked: Location too remote unless you want to go walking was given the wrong room should have had a garden room but had view of the carpark. Had poor access to reception wide steps no handrail.Receptionist was more worried about how busy she was and not attentive. Evening meal expensive and very limited
Disliked: This is a tired hotel in need of a freshen up and improvement of wardrobes. Bed just foam Bath room clean but cramped

Liked: The Staff were lovely. The cider was delicious. The breakfast was good.The bath was huge and lovely.
Disliked: I thought the evening meal was very pricey. The bed wasn't very comfortable.
