Poor Communicstion - beware of...

Disliked: When I booked this hotel there was no mention of the refurbishment work being undertaken. I was notified by four points only after the booking was confirmed and they said if I wanted to amend or change my booking to contact them. I messaged immediately to ask to cancel (within 1-2 hours of booking and just after their message). They did not respond. I then cancelled on booking.com and asked for view to be waived. They have not responded to booking.com yet several days later and have deducted from my card. I reached out again and still no response. I will be avoiding Sheraton for any future travel unless this is resolved.
