Liked: The property was amazing! This is always my choice when I come to Jax. However, booking didn’t inform the property I’d paid on the app so upon arrival I was charged - again! Denzel told me to call booking immediately because on their end it was showing as not paid. Denzel was truly helpful. Dealing with booking is the horrible part of the whole stay, they’ve not refunded my money and are requiring much more than they stated on the initial call of the overcharge, it’s almost as if they don’t want to refund my money and keep it. This is not the first booking has done this with me, at this hotel. I ended up extending my stay and booking through the hotel itself which actually worked out cheaper. Think before you use booking, check the actual hotel, you may work out better and not have to fight to get your money back when they charge you twice!

Liked: It was nice. Room was nice. Fairly modern.
Disliked: They had a telephone which was not plugged into the wall. I plugged it in and still had no dial tone. I needed to call the front desk and could not.Was never able to connect to the Wi-Fi. Kept saying “no Internet” (in red). Tried several times. Never was able to connect. At checkin we were not given the password so, that’s why I was trying to reach them by phone.Lastly, did not care to be given a voucher for breakfast. I guess since it was a restaurant, that must be how they “control” the breakfast traffic. Somewhat disappointed with all that. The room itself was fine.

Liked: The staff were always professional, congenial, and accomodating.
Disliked: The hotel can get rid of old towels/washcloth that were yellowish and stained. Although pillows were filled with down feathers, the pillow cases can use some sprucing up because they were too soft or worn out with use. I emailed the property a few times regarding some concerns brought about by Hurricane Milton, but to date , I am yet to hear from management. When I checked in, thenfront desk was not aboe to locate my reservation only to find out my entire reservation was canceled. Luckily, they had rooms available, but was not able to get the type of room I originally booked for. Communication and follow-up can be prompt or timely when guests try to reach them especially a few days before the arrival date.
