Unpleasant surprise!

Disliked: I chose the option of paying at the property; however, because of the severe weather conditions in Miami on March 30, my flight was cancelled, and I had to spend a sleepless night waiting for an early morning flight the following day. I immediately contacted the hotel, asking them to keep my reservation until I got there the following day, and I would be happy to pay for the night I wasn't able to make it to Miami. However, upon my arrival at the hotel at around 10 p.m. after a hectic day at work, I was surprised to learn that my reservation was cancelled. Worse, they attempted to charge me for the cancellation. At that time, almost all hotels within my budget were fully booked. It was an ordeal for me, and no word of apology. I was given a business card of a manager that I never got to see.

Liked: Good location. Easy check-in, friendly staff. Easy parking adjacent to the hotel with in and out privileges. Easy walking distance to restaurants at Merrick Park Shopping center.
Disliked: The water pressure (in our room at least) would wax and wain during showers. It took a fair amount of time for the hot water to flow. Found out on the last day that eggs can be made to order at breakfast, but no sign or information to indicate it first day. The price we had to pay for four nights during spring break was ridiculous for the level of service, and water pressure issues.
