Cheap skates

Liked: The bed was cozy and the check out time being a the 1 pm is especially nice and surprisingly later than anything I have experienced B4.
Disliked: Well I booked this stay months ahead and it was for our 7th Anniversary. I tried communicating this by messaging the property through booking.com which is how I reserved to begin with but no one ever responded to my message. All I wanted to know is if at all possible we could have a room with a River View and did they have any add on special accommodations I could purchase for Valentine's Day/Anniversaries. So since no one got back to me I asked when arriving if we could have river view but the clerk was not the least bit concerned with making me feel important just rushed through and getting me outta his way. Meanwhile we get a City view at this point I'm just like whatever. So I take whatever he gave me a get things in our room and notice there is trash in the can under the desk. Upon further inspection I noticed there is also trash in the bathroom can, a heaping pile of towels in the bathroom floor, the bed is slightly disheveled, and the coffee machine has been used. Clearly this room was not cleaned. I call down and you'd think after all this, they had to switch us anyway, they'd go ahead and get us in the river view but nope the guy acted very dismissive like no big deal. But it is..... it's our anniversary, and it's off to a rough start and they didn't care at all. No menus in the room so if we want to order room service we wouldn't know what our options were. So we walk down to the restaurant and stand there at the "wait to be seated sign", no one even acknowledged us so we left and went to Wendy's as we at this point had one hour B4 concert. For $250 for one night it is a shame, I expected to be treated better, I expected the accommodations and staff to be above expectations but instead I was made to feel unimportant and uncomfortable. The guy who took care of the reservations after having to change our room even followed me up to my room as if I was lying about the room being unclean.
