A great stay in central...

Liked: The property was great and all staff were friendly and helpful
Disliked: It’s a little way back from the quay, easily walkable and our room was very quiet, especially considering it was on the front of the hotel

Privacy please!

Liked: The corner room, that I paid extra for, was nice in size and light, but being on a lower floor there was not the view I had hoped for.
Disliked: I had left the privacy red light on my room because I did not want anyone coming in while I was away. When I returned it was obvious that someone had been in because there were new towels in the bathroom.

A great way to end...

Liked: Room was amazing, clean, and spacious. Especially loved the balcony and being able to soak in the ambience of Auckland.
Disliked: Shakespeare bar was amazing and the Gin selection was fantastic. Unfortunately though they would not allow us to take drinks to our rooms.

It was wonderful and would...

Liked: We arrived before lunchtime and we we given our room without hesitation and without any early check in fees. Highly grateful for this! Very accomadating and the staff at the front desk were exceptional!
Disliked: Food in the cafe....... Overpriced for what what was served. My club sandwich had one thin slice of ham on it. Seriously......the worst club sandwich I've ever been served.

Professional , plea

Liked: The hotel had a very welcoming atmosphere. The reception manager was exceptional! I had already noticed that he was quite attentive and helpful to other guests with requests : However, when I needed his attention he was taking care of several other people’s needs. I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was aware of my waiting to ask a question. When I did ask, he quickly and happily got just what we needed, then made an extra effort to further help us.
Disliked: Was a quality stay
