Convenient location

Liked: The bed was comfy and the shower water pressure was great.The location is perfect for seeing a show at the Aotea Centre, the Queen St entrance making it even more convenient.
Disliked: The air conditioning was very loud, which made it harder to get to sleep. There was a bright red light on the ceiling which also didn't help. Providing an eye mask and ear plugs is something the hotel should look into. I covered the alarm clock as the display was also bright.There was no bedside lamp, the choice of lighting was either all or nothing.And the shower leaked out into the bathroom. I turned it on before getting in and the water was splashing beyond the drain grate. I was travelling alone so used extra towels on the floor.For a luxury brand there were more things that made my stay less comfortable than it should have been (as a mother on a night away from home I didn't get the restful sleep I wanted).
