We love the location to downtown! It is very convenient to have a night out and walk everywhere! The rooms are nice. Has the feel of an older establishment, but it does appear some upgrades are being made. The price is good. The front desk personnel were very nice and friendly each visit! We will continue to stay here on all of our downtown getaways!

Liked: Rates; location; rooms; staff.
Disliked: A bit older feeling in the rooms.

1st Bad experience at this...

Liked: I love the Hotel, but when we tried to check in the Staff on duty said we didnt have a reservation?
Disliked: Staff was not knowledgable, she said we did not have a reservation, even though I provided her with a printed copy. Then she said they didn't have a room for us, she didn't seem to care that we are handicapped or that we had asked for those accomodations in our reservation, which said they did have a room. I have stayed at this Hotel over 20 nights in the past, she said they didn't have my name in their system? It was very frustrating, and the manager on duty didn't care either, so we left and did not stay!!

All in all good except...

Liked: Being downtown Anchorage.
Disliked: Toliet to low, no grab bar to grab to help you get off the Toilet.

Fair price for a single...

Liked: The front desk staff was friendly.
Disliked: There was a restaurant inside of the hotel that I was looking forward to when booking. Upon arrival they put a sign out stating the restaurant was closed for the night and after waking they had a sign stating breakfast was closed. So I had to leave the hotel and pay for parking after finding a sub par food spot close by. Just my luck they would advertise an in-house sports bar and it would be closed. I also found a Gatorade bottle with chew spit in it next to my bed.
