Pleasant
Liked: good location, close to the ferry and walkable to the centre of Fremantle - 15 minutesdressing gowns and bath mat were dated and tiredthe bedroom was spacious and had lovely furniturehad a lovely porch upstairs to sit out onfree parking on the road outside
Disliked: very close to the oval - there was a music festival on in the day until late and it was very loud, difficult to rest in the day due to noise - I’d check for ongoing events before booking if you like some quietthe room was upstairs so would be difficult dressing gowns and bath mat were dated and tired

Very good
Liked: The staff were fabulous, our room was comfortable. The building itself was very interesting and quirky. We enjoyed the breakfast, very well presented and the coffee was amazing.
Disliked: Unfortunately, the room had a very musty ,mouldy smell about it.We found it quite overwhelming. There was a lot of black mould in the bathroom, but I feel like the whole room was an issue. The style of the outside was quite abstract but probably could have done with a bit of a tidy to really show it off properly.

Quirky. Individual. First class.
Liked: Such a beautiful, quirky property with every facility you might need. The collection of books was mind blowing and the room was fab.

Liked: Great breakfast, hosts very helpful and allowed us to store luggage in office all weekend that we didn’t need until next destination
Disliked: Beds and pillows a bit too soft

Personally loved it ,different from...
Liked: Very Quirky, Eccentric, Great facilities and a wide and very eclectic mix of reproduction furniture, artworks and modern pieces throughout.I loved the history of the place and could happily of read some of the history books in the room if I had more time.Parking available, short walk to Fremantle Central (Steep hill though)
Disliked: Breakfast time a bit regimented ,not ideal for holiday mode probably, be annoying for longer stay.I booked through booking.com and missed the small print, Cooked breakfast is additional charge, included if booking direct.Didn't affect us, but note - Building Not suitable for people with mobility issues. I would be a little concerned children could damage some expensive items ,bring your Cheque book :)
