Fortingall is a charming 4-star country house hotel near Aberfeldy at the entrance to Glen Lyon and the gateway to the beautiful Scottish Highlands. With luxury rooms the restaurant uses local seasonal produce. Every room at the Fortingall Hotel has its own luxury private bathroom with fluffy bathrobes. All rooms have a flat-screen TV and a decanter of whiskey. The vibrant Ewe Bar has an open fire a bar menu for lunch and dinner and regular traditional live music. Guests can also relax with afternoon tea and snacks in the lounge. The hotel is located in a peaceful hamlet beside the 3000-year old Fortingall Yew just a few miles from Loch Tay. Fortingall offers excellent shooting and fishing and the hotel is within easy reach of Pitlochry and Blair Castle.

Beautiful place, in an amazing...

Liked: Beautiful place, lovely food, very attentive staff, a really nice experience. Will definitely go back in April when they have done the refurbishments. A gem of a place

Exactly what we had hoped...
