Liked: Clean, comfortable, friendly staff and very good location.Room was extremely hot, window was open for duration of our stay with the radiator turned off but was still uncomfortable

Great stay
Liked: Great food, staff and room. Parking was a bit painful but worked. Google Maps didn't show the correct location but we found it eventually.

Liked: The food in both the cafe on arrival and breakfast the next morning was fabulous! I don't like hotels taht don't have a buffet style but the quality of the food more than compensated for that.
Disliked: The bedrooms were very small unfortunately, and the value for money.....when my family of five stay in a hotel for ONE night it's such a pity it has to cost us €550+ in this country!!

Exceptional staff and location
Liked: The staff made my stay even more excellent. Michelle at the front desk was very helpful when answering any questions I had. The bar staff were also fantastic. I interacted with Ricardo and Julia the most, and they were very friendly. The location of the hotel is fantastic. Super close to the bus stop, which was nice. I didn’t have to haul my heavy luggage far. I will definitely be coming back to the Hyde hotel next time I’m in Galway. Thanks y’all for a great stay!
Disliked: At night the hotel locks the front door and you have to ring to be let in. There were nights that I would be out and come back to the hotel late. It’s understandable that a worker wouldn’t be at the front desk the entire night, and they would head to the back. Due to that, I had to stand outside the hotel for a good while ringing the bell until someone came. I’d suggest that the hotel allows guests to scan their hotel card to enter instead of ringing a bell and waiting to be let in.

Liked: Great location and friendly staff
Disliked: Room ventilation isn’t great. The room was roasting so we opened the door to the terrace. Some Black mould around the edges of the sliding door.
