Disliked: The bathroom ! Slow shower and she. I looked behind. Taps I saw mould! The shower curtain had broken Curtain hooks?let it down ! Not a good shower gel ! Had to open a bit tube and tap into hand ! Should have shower gel on side of shower at least for this price !!

Absolutely fantastic, with wonderful staff

Liked: Beautiful property, exceptional staff, and great location. From check in to check out It was fantastic. We have a Alsatian type dog who comes away with us, and can safely say this is the most pooch friendly place we have stayed at in the new forest (we’ve stayed at a few), without cutting back on any of the luxuries that some dog friendly places provide. We had a lovely big room, which allowed us to pop our dog bed on the floor and still have plenty of room to get round and dressed. There was a very lovely welcome gift for our pawed pal which was a lovely touch ☺️We didn’t manage to have breakfast but we had a lovely dinner in the bar area which was very much enjoyed!

Liked: Location is very goodBed was comfyStaff were friendly (however seemed understaffed)Breakfast was good when we had it. We had scrambled eggs/salmon and full English on the first day of our stay.
Disliked: - paid for breakfast but breakfast room was overbooked. Had to sit in a separate location on day 1 and on the second day there were no eggs and no pastries when we arrived at 9.15am (pre booked this time.) Still awaiting refund for the 2nd day for the breakfast as we ate elsewhere.- rooms are outdated. Need an urgent refresh. Lots of dust on lamp.- low shower pressure and water is not hot at all. Spoke to staff about this and they informed us that someone will look at it after we left!
