Liked: Did not stay. Was told because I wash with tide I could not stay.

Excellent service and great accommodation...

Liked: The owner was very nice and accommodating and the inn was very exceptionally clean. We appreciate the scent-free environment. The property is peaceful, quiet and the room had a balcony overlooking a hay field. We chose only toast and coffee for breakfast and the jams, etc were delicious.

Bad

Liked: The proprietor did call a local motel to ask if they had a room available, so at least I got a place to stay.
Disliked: I didn't end up staying there. I knew about the no scent policy and thought I had eliminated everything that had been washed with scented detergent (I wore new clothes that had not been washed my coat had never been washed,and did not even bring my luggage in), but on trying to check in, the proprietor said the scent of laundry detergent was giving her a headache and that I couldn't stay there. The clerk at the motel said this happens frequently. I am sympathetic to people with sensitivities as I work with people who have them and our workplace is scent-free, but this was next level. If someone is so sensitive, they really shouldn't be running a bed and breakfast.

Liked: We did not end up staying here. It is listed smoke free but after booking it says scent free in an email. You can not even have used a fabric sheet when drying your clothes. This should be listed in bold print so you dont even attempt to book it if you use and product with a faint smell.

Pleasant

Liked: Great location, a few km from Tatamagouche. The host, Heike, was friendly. Very clean
Disliked: Couldn't pay with credit / debit card. Breakfast - white toast and weak coffee. Poor TV reception. Property feels quite dated.

Liked: Loved breakfast. Simple and simply delicious. Consisted of bacon and eggs, toast, jam and coffee.
Disliked: No a/c, but plenty of fans we provided.
