All in all, this is...

Liked: The location is excellent: just near the town center with many shops and restaurants nearby. The personal is very polite and friendly. The interior is awesome preserving the original art nouveau style of the end of XIXth century (one really feels inside a palace). Moreover, the hotel was linked with some celebrities (e.g. Piłsudski and Rubinstein). The price is very low for a four-star hotel: we paid around 1200 złotych (approx. $300) for 4 nights.
Disliked: I was unable to lock the door of my initial room and needed to relocate to another one. The lighting of the rooms is quite dim - probably good for the Great Gatsby era but a bit insufficient for nowadays people. One socket did not work. The breakfast is not cheap at all (but there was a plenty of good places to eat nearby).
