Great place to stay -...

Liked: The breakfast was AMAZING! Probably the best brekkied we've ever had in any hotel. And the hotel has "sandwich to go" with pre-packed lunch, which is so nice, if you only have time for a quick coffee and you need to run fo a train. No more hiding the odd croissant into the napkings for the little ones for later. The hotel staff was also very kind, professional and extremly helpful. Prime location too - minutes away from Old Town, Wyspa Mlynska a number of restaurants.
Disliked: The hotel needs some TLC. You can tell it's been years since last upgrade and it shows. We couldn't find the gym, despite being advertised (I think this was closed at the time). There is no ceiling light so the room is actually quite dark despite lots of floor lamps.

It's a lovely old world...

Liked: We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel and found the location very good for proximity to the centre of the city. Breakfast was good and plentiful.
Disliked: No non slip mats in the bath. This resulted in a bad fall while trying to step in for a shower. I didn't sustain any bad injuries, and although very sore from the episode, declined to report it at the time. If you are staying at this hotel, a room to the back may be advisable as it's almost impossible to sleep properly with the noise from the trams.
