Our stay was mediocre. Great...

Liked: We really liked the staff, the gentleman on the front desk was fantastic, very friendly and approachable! The beds weren’t comfortable, we hate to complain because staff was nice but it could have been cleaner and definitely needs more up to date decor. Over all our stay wasn’t too bad, we appreciate that you accept animals but there was a cost, I could see if it was a high end hotel that there may be a fee, and there are many nice hotels that accept pets free of charge. Not a huge deal though and you guys were there late when we really needed a place to go as we were driving from Nova Scotia to Quebec and my fiancée got sick during the drive. Thanks for your service, hope this was helpful!
Disliked: I wrote above most of my likes and dislikes but in more detail we didn’t love the bed, it wasn’t very comfortable and neither were the pillows or duvet ( or lack of) to be honest, not what you expect when staying at a hotel, the bed and pillows are often something I look forward to because most hotels have very comfortable bedding and mattresses. Getting new beds and bedding would help tremendously! Along with updating the decor, it’s very dated and that makes it look less desirable, in fact it makes it look cheap. $120 a night wasn’t the best price, it’s actually comparable to more high end hotels, it was just close to where we were while driving when we needed to stop, so we took the chance. Personally I would take away the extra fee for pets because that brings the room up to closer to $150 a night, there are many hotels that accept pets, included in the fee and it is less than $150 for example: Hampton inn and suites accepts pets and is much more luxurious and is roughly $120-$140 a night. One other thing we didn’t understand was having to park in the back when there was tons of parking in the front, in fact we were the only customers there I believe. This isn’t great for people who have many bags or are disabled. Thanks for reading! I Hope this helps!

We will never book here...

Disliked: The room had carpeting and had not been vacuumed there were flies all over the floor. There was a couch in the room which was dirty. The hot tub in the room had a white film in it, was not clean . There was mold growing in the small refrigerator and it was leaking water. Upon entering the room the staff was in our room spraying air fresher which was so strong we couldn’t tolerate the smell. We both suffered from headaches while there. We left a day early because of this! Also it stated that our room had hardwood floors which was not true.

The hotel has great potential...

Liked: The restaurant on site was amazing. The rooms were okay but no mattress encasements and not very clean.
Disliked: The in room jet tub was noisy and could not be powered off. It was too dirty to use. The pool was filled but not usable.
